Voluntary Organizations Active In Disaster (VOAD)
The Beaver County VOAD group is comprised of representatives from county social service agencies, faith based groups, and emergency preparedness and response organizations such as the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army. The group meets quarterly to discuss disaster preparedness and response topics and maintains a communication network in order to provide recovery support to those affected by disasters.
